What's New Pussycat????

Hey there! Long time no blog. Us LIT Ladies do apologize, but we've been a tad stressed. The picture above is pretty much how we feel (and look) at the moment! lol!

So, Kristina has been totally swamped with writing A Midnight Clear. It needed to be done and shipped off to her editor before RT this week. I've been keeping a low profile because I know she's pulling all nighters and she doesn't need my emails or my 'man candy' pics! I think she's done the book and it's been sent off! YEAH, KRISTINA!! Now, she's got to get her fanny ready for RT!

Amanda is already in Orlando getting everything prepared for the readers and authors who are going to descend in droves to the Romantic Times convention. It's this week, and both Amanda and Kristina have promised to pop in and give us updates and lots of deets as to the going ons at the convention. So, we can look forward to that! And maybe a few cover model pics?

I'm staying home this week and writing Velvet Haven. I worked last week on a few edits for A Highlander Christmas and shipped those off to my editor who liked what I did. So, I'm done edits for that, and now can concentrate on writing. I'll be around this week, though, posting and trying to keep you ladies entertained.

Lord Craven-Moore...well, I've finally convinced him to come out of his high dungeon and post. Look for that mid week. He needs his ego stroked. He's such a baby....

So, we thank you for your patience as we stress out. Hopefully this week will be the detox week, although with all the mayhem going on at RT, it's doubtful!

Anyone got any big plans for this week? Anyone going to RT?

Amanda, hope you're feeling better. I hate losing days to illness!

Happy reading. What's in your pile?

Amanda said...

Aw thank you Charlotte!

I have Thirty Nights with a highland husband, Highland Guardian both by Melissa Mayhue and I have Lover Enshrined in preparation for Rhev's release!

OH, I'm DYING for Lover Enshrined! GAWD, I can't wait! It's the only book that I'm going to read during deadline time. Chapters haven't shipped my copy yet. It had better be on time, or I'm going to be seriously ticked! lol!

thirty nights with a Highland husband....gonna go check that one out right now!

Feel better!

Amanda:

I hope you feel better. Being sick is awful!

I love the "stressed" depiction for this post. I know the feeling.

My goal this week is survival at the dreaded day job. lol

I have to apologize because I am pretty new to "Lust In Time", and I am still getting you authors confused. :( Sorry, I thought Amanda/Charlotte were one in the same - obviously I was sorely mistaken.

Anyway, to Amanda - feel better!
To Sophie - I am reading "Hot In Here", and thoroughly enjoying.

Best regards
L

Charlotte I have to confess I haven't read anything of yours yet, but I have read many reviews! I was wondering where would be a good place to start for me?

I'll be reading this week, it's my only plan so far. I have several library finds that currently have my attention, Sarah Strohmeyer writes a really cute series starting with the Cinderella Pact. But as soon as Hot In Here arrives, I'll be reading that. I did pick up a cute little book in the Vegas Vampires Series this weekend that looks tasty too.

Amanda: Hope your feeling better! Read more books, always helps when you're not feeling well.

Dottie :)

Thanks Lea and Dottie!

Dottie I completely agree with you getting lost with a fantastic book is a must!

Charlotte Featherstone said...

Lea! LOL! No problem with the confusion. I'm Charlotte for the historicals, and Sophie for my contemporaries and conemporary paranormals! Gald you're enjoying Hot In Here!

Amanda, glad you found us here at Lust In Time! We're happy to have you! As for where to start, I'm not sure. My writing is erotic romance under both my names (Charlotte/Sophie) I guess it depends on what you're feeling like. My erotic historical Addicted is emotional and romantic, and the contemporary Hot In Here is fun and sexy and about a playboy chef.

My websites are www.charlottefeatherstone.net and www.sophierenwick.com
Thanks for checking me out!

Dottie, thanks for stopping by. Read more books...I love it! I wish I could read more. That's the weird thing when you become an author, your reading for pleasure time is so severely cut back. I'm looking forward to this though, when I can do nothing but sit on the deck with a cold one and a good book. My TBR pile is out of control huge!

I so wish I was going to RT! *sigh* Maybe next time...

You ladies are going to have a blast. Have a bit of fun for me too!

VFG, next year it's in Columbus Ohio. Does that sound doable for you?

I'm looking forward to that one. It's only four hours away from where I live.

Lea said...

Thank you for the clarification Charlotte!

Man, I get confused about a lot of stuff lately! LOL

And, to echo what VFG commented, I hope a great time will be had by all at the RT!

Isn't there an author Amanda who lives at this blog as well? Or, am I again, confused... :::head bangs on desk:::

Best Regards
L

Charlotte Featherstone said...

No, Lea, you're not confused! lol! Amanda MacIntyre is our resident LIT lady. She writes for Harlequin Spice. Her books are Diary of Cozette, and the soon to be released (August, I believe) Tortured.

Kristina and I affectionately call her Pamanda.

Maybe I should go by the Sophlotte? lol! Or, Hussy is fine, but I think I'd have to share that name with VFG.....

Pix on the side bar would sort out things quite nicely. And don't forget one of LCM to up the feminine drool factor. :D

I'm flying out to RT tomorrow AM. I can't WAIT! I've already had three author/friends call and ask where I could be found at that moment. Sadly, my answer was, "At home still!" UGH!

This problem should be rectified soon - If I make it through the day!

LOL Charlotte!! I'll totally share the Hussy name with you. :)

Oh, and from one Hussy to another: Holy Smokes Girl!

I'm reading 'Hot in Here' and HOT DAMN!!!! I'm a certifiable hussy now cause I'm lovin' these sex scenes! Food never sounded more sexual to me like custard...gelato...I'm in constant anticapation over which food product will be used next!! And Bryce *sigh*, he's so my kina hero. I'm lovin' it!!

Hmmm...Ohio is still far but I've a whole year to save up! It's goin' on my Wish List.

:) VFG

*sighs* This week is to getting my truck back on the road. The brakes are fixed, but the fan will have to be replaced. At least my TBR pile and artwork to keep me company!

Hi Charlotte

I live in Illinois, maybe there's a competition that my daughter can enter in the Columbus area, we've already went to two there. That would be so cool, RT in Ohio, that's only about five hours away. I might be able to do that one. Awesome! And a whole year to save for it.

Well, maybe Lord CM might just have to come up with a contest next year for RT!!!! lol!

VFG, I'll share Hussy with ya! I'm SO glad you're loving Bryce and the sexy scene. He can cook up some interesting things, can't he? lol! It's different from the Charlotte stuff, but I like that other side my writing!

Genella, safe flight, and lots of good karma coming your way for your first book signing! You go!!! And pictures ont he side bar...um, yeah, well, after I have plastic surgery!

Raneria, hope the truck gets fixed, and for cheap, too! Love yoru artwork. You're so talented.

Dottie, you'd love RT!!!

Amanda, I hope you feel better!!! Being sick sucks *folding arms across chest like a 5 yr old*

Charlotte... you and VGF are hiliarous!!! Hussy huh!??! Well, after reading so many erotic novels, I am starting to feel like one! I am soooo getting Hot In Here!! As if I don't have to tell you that the cover is smokin HAWT!!! And after reading what VFG said about it... I think I will be sneaking to the book store to buy it without anyone knowing!!!
Oh and thanks for visiting me at my place!! It was nice to see you there!
*Sniffing* along with VFG, not going to the RT convention. Wish I was though, but with tax season, they don't let us take vacation around these times. But Ohio next year.... I live in Louisiana... so that would be a trip for me! But maybe if I cross fingers and toes just maybe Santa will be nice to me.
Hope you guys have a great day/evening/night!
