The fairy tale in THE SERPENT PRINCE (...Hi Ikhlas,

The fairy tale in THE SERPENT PRINCE (like all my fairy tales) was written by me--so I made up the ending. I modeled it on some of the bloodier Grimm Brothers, though, such as THE GOOSEGIRL, in which the heroine has a magical helper (a goat) whose head continues to help her after he's killed. Like I said, bloody! ;-) In those tales, of course, the magical helper isn't the hero, but I wanted to write a fairy tale in which he was.

I don't have plans to publish THE ICE PRINCESS, but one never knows! ;-) For those who haven't heard, I'm writing a FREE online novella in 2009 titled THE ICE PRINCESS. Each month I'll post a new chapter. He's so much fun and yet so intense as well. I think I've figured out the traitor, but I'll keep my thoughts to myself on that one. LOL I read To Seduce A Sinner first and then To Beguile a Beast. Yup, I'm done writing TO DESIRE A DEVIL--the last book in the Legend of the Four Soldiers series--and I've moved onto a new series that you won't see until 2010. It's tentatively titled the Maiden Lane series and takes place during the gin wars in London (about 1742-1753.) The first book in the Maiden Lane series is WICKED INTENTIONS (the manuscript I'm working on now) and involved a cynical aristocrat hero and a heroine who runs a foundling home in St. Giles. I'm really enjoying writing it--hopefully you'll enjoy reading it! ;-)Elizabeth Hoythttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13325521376850287401noreply@blogger.com
